Jackson Hole
I stayed at the Hampton Inn, near downtown Jackson.
Total Eclipse
It was a completely sunny day with no clouds in the sky. Perfect for watching a total eclipse. I was at Jackson Hole airport - small and beautiful terminal within Grand Teton National Park. They set up an eclipse viewing area on the tarmac. Around 95% coverage it began to get noticeably darker (like sunset) and cooler. At totality it was like dusk and a few stars were visible. During totality a private plane sky wrote a large crescent above the Teton mountains.

Took the tram to the top of the highest mountain in Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, in Teton Village. Spectacular views and lots of hiking trails.
